Hope and Grace Recovery Center Outpatient

Hope and Grace Recovery Center Outpatient Review

Based out of Oakland Park, Florida, Hope and Grace Recovery Center is a multi-faceted behavioral health facility providing treatment for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Though the organization offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) that includes housing, those seeking more flexible care have the option to attend outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) as well.

Treatment and Staff

Before beginning treatment, all participants go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members determine their needs. While on-site detox services are not available, those in need can get referrals to nearby programs as necessary. Although each program uses many of the same treatment practices, each varies in intensity. The most intensive of these is the PHP track which provides an intensity similar to a residential treatment plan—this is typically a transitionary option for those coming out of detox. This program typically lasts 30 to 45 days with 20 to 30 hours of therapy a week. Less intensive is the IOP, a step-down option which lasts for 45 to 60 days and meets three times a week. The most flexible is standard outpatient care, which meets at least once a week and can be made to fit any schedule.

In all the above, programs include individual and group therapy with evidence-based treatment practices including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition to these approaches, all clients are also required to attend regular 12-step groups and work the steps. Additional groups focus on holistic care methods such as mindfulness, meditation and physical activity. Other topics covered include relapse prevention, stress management and addiction education. Dual diagnosis support is available as well.

The staff at Hope and Grace Recovery Center consists of Certified Addiction Professionals (CAPs), LMSWs, case managers, RNs, LCSWs, psychologists and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

Other specialized services include biofeedback and massage therapy. Program participants can also attend extracurricular activities such as fishing trips, beach days, holiday cookouts and alumni groups. As mentioned, the organization also provides a PHP option which functions similarly to residential treatment. Those looking to step down the intensity of their care can work with the staff to do so as a form of aftercare.

In Summary

In all, Hope and Grace Recovery Center provides intimate and individualized programs for clients struggling with addiction and related behavioral issues. Each care regimen spans a wide range of different modalities including evidence-based care, 12-step support and physical activity. For those in the area seeking a flexible treatment option, Hope and Grace Recovery Center’s outpatient programs are worth considering.
