Holly Hill Hospital Review
Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Holly Hill Hospital has been offering substance abuse and mental health treatment for more than 35 years. Before admission, clients must undergo an initial intake process in order to determine the proper course of care. The PHP requires adults to attend treatment Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 2:45 pm. The program typically lasts four to five weeks and consists of group, individual and family therapy, all using the Matrix Model. The program also uses evidence-based modalities like CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), contingency management and 12-step support. Staff members at HHH include LADCs, LCSWs, LPCs and psychiatrists.
Extras
HHH also has a psychiatric PHP for adults with mental health issues such as depression, bipolar, PTSD, trauma and grief. This program uses DBT and MI in group therapy sessions offered five times a day. Groups meet Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 2:45 pm for two to four weeks.
The facility also offers general psychiatric services to adolescents needing counseling for issues outside the scope of substance abuse. Treatment is available for clients between the ages of six and 17 in need of emergency stabilization. The acute program can last anywhere from three to seven days. Family involvement is also implemented into treatment through group therapy, educational workshops on parenting and visitation hours.
