High Point Treatment Center Outpatient Services Review
High Point Treatment Center Outpatient Services is a nonprofit corporation formed in 1996 that offers a variety of substance abuse treatment programs from a network of treatment facilities in and around Plymouth and Brockton, Massachusetts. Clients have the option to enroll in the treatment program that best suits their specific recovery needs including residential (in Brockton, New Bedford, Plymouth and Middleborough), detox, medication management and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Outpatient services are available at several different locations including Plymouth, Brockton, Middleborough, New Bedford and Taunton.
Treatment and Staff
High Point takes a multi-level approach to recovery, integrating behavior modification, therapy, education and medication to cover all the bases of addiction and treatment. For the best results, clients must first go through an initial evaluation and assessment to give the counselors a better understating of their needs and to develop an individualized treatment plan. These plans are then reviewed every 90 days to meet clients’ evolving needs as they progress.
Treatment plans typically consist of individual and group therapy, vocational rehabilitation and medication management. One-on-one sessions are scheduled independently, while groups are scheduled several times throughout the week. All therapy incorporates CBT and DBT methodology and dual diagnoses support is available at Plymouth facility. The 12-steps are not incorporated into treatment, but clients can be referred to local chapters upon request.
The staff at High Point consists of CADCs, psychiatrists and psychologists.
Extras
During vocational rehabilitation, clients become prepared to re-enter the workforce by learning valuable skills and developing tools such as resume writing, interview techniques and how to search for jobs. Transitional services are also available to support clients as they step down from treatment to aftercare.
