Helping Professionals Wellness Center is a mental and behavioral health treatment and wellness center located in Battle Ground, Washington. Just two hours outside of Seattle, HPWC offers an outpatient substance abuse treatment program using a holistic approach and traditional therapy, clients can also access Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT) with Suboxone.
Treatment and Staff
Although the program at HPWC is exclusively outpatient, all treatment plans are individualized and tailored for each client. Credentialed professionals focus on raising self-esteem, leading to high success rates of recovery.
Treatment begins with an initial assessment/evaluation to determine the course of treatment and which counselor on the HPWC staff is the best fit. From there, the client participates in both individual therapy and family therapy that helps them form a healthy and functioning system.
Clients will also partake in group therapy with topics including time management, drug and alcohol education, anger and stress management, grief and loss, conflict resolution, life skills, relapse prevention, chemical dependency, guilt and shame and self-esteem. The 12-steps are not integrated into treatment, but are strongly encouraged. MAT using Suboxone is also available for those struggling with opiate addiction. These treatments are monitored as clients progress in treatment.
The staff at HPWC consists of LICSWs, CADCs, Chemical Dependency Professionals (CDPs) and National Certified Addiction Counselors (NCACs).
Extras
In addition to the comprehensive substance abuse treatment program, HPWC also offers treatment for a variety of other behavioral health problems and support services. Counseling for panic attacks, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, schizophrenia and ADD/ADHD are all available. Clients can also access suicide prevention services, DUI assessments and an Alcohol and Drug Information School as well as help for domestic abuse.
