Friday group therapy schedules vary from week to week. In the female group, counselors use art therapy to help participants process their emotions. Other groups apply CBT, DBT and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) when discussing topics such as relapse prevention, anger management, recovery and change, life skills and stress.
Staff members include CADCs, counselors with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and an MD with a PhD in psychology.

Aside from drug and alcohol treatment services, HSCS has a DUI education program for court-ordered clients along with an MIP juvenile program. Marriage counseling is also available.
