Growth and Recovery Center Review
Founded in 1999, Growth and Recovery Center is a small counseling practice with comprehensive, outpatient-based treatment services for clients struggling with a wide range of behavioral health issues. Programs are available to adults, adolescents, couples, individuals and families. All care plans are individualized and can be made to suit any schedule.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, all clients go through an intake and assessment process to help the staff determine their needs and their treatment history. As an outpatient-based facility, detox and stabilization services are not available on-site. Once stabilized, participants attend programs that include individual and group therapy based around evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT. Dual diagnosis support is available for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma and other related issues, but clients with severe psychiatric needs may need to seek additional help elsewhere.
Special treatment plans for clients dealing with eating disorders are also available. Other special options include groups for domestic violence, attachment disorders, compassion fatigue, sexual dysfunction and more. While 12-step participation is not strictly required in these programs, participation may be encouraged in some cases.
The staff at Growth and Recovery Center consists of 10 qualified counselors including MDs, psychiatrists, LCSWs, LPCs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

As mentioned, all programs are customized and can be catered to the individual’s needs with age and gender factored in. Once participants complete a primary care plan, they can also work with staff members to develop step-down aftercare or discharge options whenever necessary.
