All three houses offer an abundance of amenities including flat screen TVs, cable and WiFi, plush furnishings, a swimming pool, an outdoor barbecue grill, multiple patios, a ping pong table and are pet friendly. Some Goodfellas traditions include backyard football games, spades night and home-cooked family-style dinners. Clients are responsible for shopping for groceries and cooking.
Rules and Regulations
Clients are required to be sober before entering transitional living. To this end, Goodfellas has connections with the best detox facilities in the West Palm Beach area. If needed, many of these detox facilities can offer medication to ease withdrawal symptoms. If a resident relapses during their stay at Goodfellas, the individual must detox again before returning. At that time, they will be put on probation with earlier curfews and more frequent check-in’s with house managers. All residents are tested regularly and randomly for drugs and alcohol.
Goodfellas offers a warm but structured environment with around-the-clock supervision. All residents are expected to seek and then maintain employment. Goodfellas provides employment assistance like resume-writing and basic job skills as well as transportation assistance such as acquiring a driver’s license or bus pass. Residents are also required to attend regular 12-step meetings.
The facility also offers an IOP to sober living residents that require a consistent, structured treatment. The Goodfellas IOP offers both group and individual therapy sessions three hours a day for three days a week. The length of IOP varies depending on the specific needs of the clients. Transportation is provided for all residents.

Goodfellas places a premium on community. To this end, residents routinely go on fun weekend outings including paddle boarding, outdoor meditation, beach trips, fishing, movie nights and hiking. In addition, clients have the option every day of going to the gym where they can work out or go to yoga classes.
Given its year-round tropical temperature and fun activities, West Palm Beach is a mecca for recovery. The Goodfellas will arrange the travel for clients coming in from outside the area.
