Treatment and Staff
Prior to beginning counseling, an initial assessment is used to determine the level of care needed. Detox and residential treatment are not offered.
Unlike a structured outpatient program, individual therapy gives clients complete individualized attention. Working closely with therapists, clients can address the underlying issues of addiction. Typically these sessions are 60 minutes and conducted on a weekly basis. However, the client and their therapist will determine a schedule that best suits the individual’s needs.
Evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT are brought in to combat the client’s thinking patterns. Focus is placed on relapse prevention and supporting clients as they go through the ups and downs of recovery. While 12-step isn’t mandatory part of the program, it offered as a recovery approach. While support for co-occurring disorders such as depression and anxiety is offered through therapy and psychiatry, the psychiatrist is only available once a month.
The staff consists of a psychiatrist, Master’s level therapists and counselors.
