For those who want a less intensive and more flexible option, individual therapy can be used as its own form of treatment. These hour-long sessions usually occur on a weekly basis, providing clients with individual attention and privacy. The 12 steps can be included when needed. The staff consists of Master’s-level therapists and LADCs. Group sizes for IOP and PHP range from eight to 12 clients at a time.
