Future Now Detox Review
Future Now Detox opened in May of 2017 to provide a medically-supervised detox experience that includes holistic and neuroscience-based treatments. Future Now was founded by Andrey Rossin, a CAC with 11 years of sobriety. Rossin was born and raised in Belarus and is active in south Florida’s Russian-speaking recovery community. Future Now’s medical director is Dr. Bruce Berman. Dr. Berman founded Palm Beach Holistic Health Center and specializes in addiction and integrative medicine.
Future Now’s pillars of treatment are NAD/BR+ (an IV protocol that improves the performance of neurotransmitters), nutrition and vitamin supplementation and evidence-based therapy.
Accommodations and Food
Future Now occupies a Spanish Mission style home that’s decorated in a serene, zen-like atmosphere. The home has 15 beds and offers both single and double-occupancy rooms. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, and clients can meditate and take walks on the home’s grounds, which are dotted with mango, coconut and avocado trees.
A gourmet chef prepares all meals, which include vegetarian and kosher options. The kitchen staff also prepares fresh juices daily and Vitamin water and fresh fruits and vegetables are always available for snacks.
Treatment and Staff
Most clients stay Future Now for seven to ten days. As soon as they’re well enough, clients are encouraged to participate in the treatment groups held three times each day. Groups use CBT, REBT, psychodrama and art therapy, among other modalities, to help clients manage cravings and learn self-expression and coping skills. Clients also have individual therapy several times during their stay.
Throughout their stay, clients have NAD/BR+ treatments intravenously, which has been shown to improve cognitive function and reduce cravings. Clients also have holistic treatments such as chiropractic, yoga, massage and auricular therapy and participate in an on-site 12-step meeting each evening from 7 to 8 pm.
The multidisciplinary treatment team at Future Now includes CACs, a psychologist, a psychodrama therapist and 24/7 support by LVNs. Throughout their stay, clients work with their primary counselor to help make an aftercare plan that may include residential treatment or a Partial Hospitalization or Intensive Outpatient Program.
Extras
Family members may call in for Skype of phone counseling. Future Now also offers services in both Spanish and Russian.
In Summary
By incorporating nutritional, neuroscientific and holistic treatment practices in detox, Future Now helps clients create a rich and solid foundation for recovery. Future Now provides extensive aftercare planning, as well, ensuring that residents have the support to take confident next steps in their sobriety.
