Fresh Life Recovery Center Review
Fresh Life Recovery Center is an outpatient program for men and women with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. Located in the Palm Beach suburb of Lake Worth, Florida, Fresh Life’s individualized treatment plans consist of group and individual therapy by way of a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a standard outpatient track for adults.
Treatment and Staff
The most intensive level of care at Fresh Life is the PHP program, which consists of treatment five days a week. Clients at this level have typically just completed detox or residential treatment at another facility. Groups are offered Monday through Friday and one-on-one sessions are scheduled as needed. Upon completion of PHP, which is usually three to four weeks, clients can step down to IOP. This level consists of three groups a week and one individual session for a duration of four to six weeks, followed by the standard outpatient track where the number of treatment hours varies but typically commences for two hours a week.
Fresh Life Recovery Center believes that a holistic, medically-informed approach is needed in order to encompass a full range of care. Therapy employs evidence-based practices like CBT but also incorporates a holistic component and Christian spiritual practices. This includes physical healing through diet and exercise and mental healing through counseling, therapy and education. Psychiatric consultations and medication management are provided on site.
Staff includes a Clinical Director, who is a licensed Christian Counselor, CADCs and LCSWs.
Extras
Fresh Life also has an optional sober living component. Clients in need a safe place to live in early recovery are referred through the local organization, Seamless Transitions Homes.

Fresh Life Recovery Center’s outpatient program offers a full continuum of care for those leaving rehab or looking for an adjunct program while in sober living. While the Christian component may not appeal to everybody, there is also an emphasis on CBT and building life skills for living in recovery.
