Freedom Recovery Center Review
Freedom Recovery Center is a behavioral health and substance abuse treatment agency that offers a variety of different treatment programs and modalities to individuals seeking treatment and care. Located in Prescott, Arizona, FRC offers an outpatient program with dual diagnosis treatment and a sober living environment providing CARF accredited care to the Yavapai County community.
Treatment and Staff
The outpatient program at FRC, called the “innovative outpatient program”, is individualized and integrates a variety of different treatment modalities for the best possible chance for recovery. After an initial assessment, a treatment plan is devised to determine which services are most beneficial to the client.
Treatment utilizes CBT methodology and includes individual therapy scheduled independently as well as weekly group therapy. Group sessions incorporate lectures, videos, talking sessions and written assignments covering topics such as relapse prevention, addiction education, family bonding, building self-esteem and the 12 steps.
FRC believes the 12-steps are vital to recovery and they are heavily integrated into the program with Big Book study and sponsors. Dual diagnosis and treatment for co-occurring disorders can also be incorporated into each client’s treatment plan if required.
The staff at FRC consists of LPCs, psychologists and CADCs, many of which have a history of substance abuse and recovery and are able to share their experiences with clients to aid in recovery.
Extras
Upon completion of the program, clients are encouraged to participate in the aftercare program, which lasts one year and consists of weekly group therapy sessions and individual sessions at the request of the client.
In addition to outpatient treatment programs, FRC also offers several sober living environments in the Prescott area. These homes provide safe and sober environments with structured guidelines that integrate the 12-steps and daily chores.
