Opened in 2016, Foundations Los Angeles in Encino, California is another addition to the expansive Foundations Recovery Network, a national behavioral health organization that provides comprehensive treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders. This outpatient facility uses evidence-based therapy, didactic sessions and holistic practices. Foundations Los Angeles’ Stages of Change approach to treatment allows clients to identify addictive patterns and develop tools to change thinking and behavior.
Treatment and Staff
After an initial intake and psychiatric assessment, staff members work with clients to create an individualized treatment plan. Case management services are also provided, which can include vocational counseling and help with further education. Clients who have completed primary care can attend weekly aftercare and alumni groups. Those seeking residential treatment will be referred to either the Canyon at Peace Park or Michael’s House, both part of the Foundations Recovery Network.
Additional services include specialized group therapy of clients with eating disorders.
