Enterhealth Outpatient Review
Enterhealth Outpatient Center of Excellence is an outpatient treatment facility and a subsidiary of its parent company, Enterhealth, founded in 2008. Based out of Dallas, Texas, treatment plans are available in several different intensities including an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP). Both implement the same therapeutic modalities.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, clients undergo a thorough intake and assessment process to help staff members develop individualized treatment plans. Clients in need of detox can do so on-site before continuing on to therapy. Though schedules can be flexible, for the most part IOP meets three times a week for three hours per session for eight weeks; meeting times are available in the morning and afternoon. SOP is more flexible and can cater to a number of schedules.
In both programs, clients attend individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT and EMDR. All programs are individualized so the specifics of each can vary significantly. Dual diagnosis support including medication management is available as necessary. While 12-step participation isn’t a required part of the program, the principles can be worked into the curriculum if clinicians deem it might be beneficial.
The staff at Enterhealth Outpatient Center of Excellence consists of LCDCs, physicians, psychiatrists, RNs, LCSWs, case managers and additional Master’s and PhD-level clinicians.
Extras
Clients also experience holistic approaches to treatment including acupuncture, massage therapy and nutritional counseling. Other more unorthodox methods include other practices drawn from traditional Chinese medicine including cupping, moxibustion and Tui Na. On-site case managers offer life coaching, career guidance and legal counseling. Family therapy can also be facilitated, as can further holistic treatment options like equine therapy for an additional fee. Those in need of aftercare services can work with staff members on discharge planning and setting up stepped down treatment plans.
