Those in need of detox can do so on-site before continuing on to therapy. Though treatment protocols may vary, all participants attend both individual and group therapy with evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Dual diagnosis support is available as well, including medication management. Programs are designed specifically with veterans’ needs in mind; this means that there’s an emphasis on life and vocational skills, trauma-informed care and addiction education. Throughout the program, all clients are also required to attend regular 12-step meetings.
