Dynamic Life Recovery Centers Review
Based out of Fort Pierce, Florida, Dynamic Life Recovery Centers is a Christian-based recovery program for adult men struggling with addiction and related behavioral health issues. The facility is JCAHO-accredited and offers a range of programs in different intensities, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). In addition, it also offers detox and residential treatment as necessary.
Accommodations and Food
The facilities offer 33 beds for men in apartment-style apartments with shared rooms. Each bedroom comes with comfortable twin beds, dressers, nightstands, natural light from windows and basic decorations. There are also therapy rooms, common garden areas, chapels for activities and spiritual services, common living areas with cable TV, WiFi and shared kitchens. Throughout their stay, all clients are served three meals a day by on-staff chefs.
Treatment and Staff
Upon intake, all clients go through an initial assessment to help the staff members determine their needs. On-site detox services are available for those who need them as well. Although the program offered is an ambulatory detox, the facility does have day beds available as well for those in a transitionary PHP track.
Once stabilized, all residents attend full schedules of individual, group and family therapy with evidence-based practices and 12-step integration. As a faith-oriented program, clients can also attend Celebrate Recovery in addition to (or in lieu of) AA meetings. The program also facilitates EMDR for those suffering from trauma as well as a host of holistic approaches including art therapy, meditation and mindfulness training. Group sessions focus primarily on dealing with relapse prevention and teaching residents self-management and life skills.
The staff at Dynamic Life Recovery Centers consists of LCSWs, case managers, spiritual counselors and additional Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
One of the organization’s more specific programs is the Veteran’s Project, a transitional outpatient option for veterans struggling with addiction, which uses the same modalities and methods as those mentioned above. As mentioned, those who need a more flexible care plan can also attend IOP and PHP tracks, or work with staff members to develop step-down aftercare options.

Overall, Dynamic Life Recovery Centers’ residential program provides a safe and stable environment for men in recovery. Treatment is faith-based though it also includes evidence-based therapy and a range of holistic care methods as well. Dual diagnosis support and medication management are also provided along with groups covering life skills and other important topics.
