Kramer and offers substance abuse assessments, counseling, intervention and educational services. It provides an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults and adolescents during which, group therapy, skill building and educational classes are all provided. Counseling is also offered independently of a formal program to adults, teenagers and families. Treatment and Staff
Dream Inc. offers outpatient services only. An IOP treatment cycle runs 30 days and includes 12 mandatory group sessions and 3 individual ones which may be spaced out at the discretion of the client in question. When getting treatment at Dream Inc. clients attend the facilities three days a week and take part in group therapy for two to three hours per each day. While treatment does not not incorporate the 12 steps, clients are encouraged to attend outside AA/NA meetings and are provided with community listings.
Dream Inc. services are provided out of four different locations in Hays, Great Bend, Russell and Beloit, Kansas. All four locations provide the same services and clients may choose where to attend their therapy sessions as well as relapse prevention classes. Dream Inc. staff boasts a variety of certified licensed counselors, including LCSWs and LADCs.
In addition to its substance abuse treatment services, Dream Inc. also runs camps for the children of addict parents and caregivers. These camps are held on the north shore of Cedar Bluff Reservoir in Western Kansas and focus on education, prevention and wellness for the children. Weekend retreats are also held for adult clients at the same location.
As Dream Inc. is state funded, most Kansas residents with proof of income get to have their treatment costs covered by the state. Potential clients who are not Kansas residents need not fear—most insurance is accepted at Dream Inc. Reasonable cost aside, Dream Inc. is nearing 30 years of reliably providing substance abuse treatment. So, for those in need of outpatient level treatment, especially those who have children, Dream Inc. may be the chance to wake up from the nightmare of substance abuse.
