With facilities throughout the country, Dillard Recovery is a multi-faceted behavioral health organization providing a range of services for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Although its various locations also offer flexible outpatient, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), each also facilitates inpatient detox services and residential treatment.
Accommodations and Food
While each of the facilities differs, residents can expect to stay in comfortable homes with shared bedrooms and low client rolls. The bedrooms are shared between two to three residents each with full beds, dressers, nightstands and other basic decorations. Beyond the bedrooms, the homes also have shared common areas with television, dining rooms and fully-equipped kitchens. Throughout their stay, all clients are served three meals a day plus snacks.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning a program, all participants go through an intake and assessment process to help the staff learn their treatment history and their needs. Those in need of medical detox and stabilization can do so on-site as necessary, with medication management and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) available as well. When they’re able to do so, residents attend regular individual and group therapy with evidence-based treatment practices including CBT and DBT. Groups cover a wide range of topics such as trigger identification, trauma processing, relapse prevention, life skills, 12-step recovery principles and support for dual diagnosis disorders. While basic support for issues like depression and anxiety are available, those seeking more intensive psychiatric help may need to find additional support elsewhere.
The staff at Dillard Recovery consists of case managers, nurse practitioners, LPCs, LCSWs and additional Master’s-level counselors.
As mentioned, all treatment plans are individualized and care plans are available in all different intensities. Lengths of stay are flexible as well. Those who complete a primary care plan can also work with staff members to develop stepped down aftercare plans. In some cases, this may also include help being placed in a local sober living home.
Overall, Dillard Recovery is a broad organization with many different services available for its clients. Treatment plans are both flexible and individualized, with evidence-based counseling, 12-step integration and dual diagnosis support all available. While those in need of more thorough medical or psychiatric help may need to find further support elsewhere, Dillard Recovery remains a strong resource for clients throughout the country.
