The Basics

Corebella Recovery and Wellness opened its doors in 2015 to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid addicts using Suboxone. Corebella operates three locations in southern Arizona with clinics in Tempe, Yuma and Glendale. In addition to MAT, the clinics also offer primary care services, including allergy testing, blood panels and immunotherapy.

Treatment and Staff

Clients have an assessment at the clinic, after which a physician determines their Suboxone dose. Clients then receive their doses at their local pharmacy and return to the clinic at least once every two weeks for monitoring. They are also required to attend group therapy once every two weeks for the first three months of treatment.

Weekly group therapy is conducted by Certified Arizona Addiction Counselors, some of whom also have backgrounds in life coaching. Therapy uses CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients develop coping skills and handle triggers. Groups usually have five to 15 participants.

In the event that clients are unable to attend group therapy at the clinic, due to work or family obligations, they may be able to attend groups elsewhere or use participation in NA or SMART Recovery to meet the requirements. Clients can also schedule individual therapy with their counselor for an additional fee. The treatment team helps clients in need of dual diagnosis support locate nearby mental health treatment.

Extras

Testing and allergy shots for improved immune response to environmental allergies are available at all three locations, as is blood testing for food allergies.

In Summary

Corebella Recovery and Wellness offers economical MAT and group therapy for opioid addicts in southern Arizona. The treatment team also helps clients locate additional peer support or group therapy options, working with each one to make sure they have the emotional support to flourish in recovery.
