Consolidated Care Inc. Review
Consolidated Care, Inc. has been offering quality care for substance abuse and mental health issues throughout Ohio since 1971. Four outpatient locations are available throughout the state, with locations in Urbana, Russells Point, West Liberty and Bellefontaine. Treating adults, adolescents and children, treatment services include Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), basic outpatient care and individual therapy. Programs employ a combination of the 12 steps and CBT to help clients recover.
Treatment and Staff
All of CCI’s treatment offerings include individualized treatment plans, following an initial intake assessment. Appointments are offered Mondays through Fridays 8 am until 2 pm. After this stage, clients can develop treatment plans with dual diagnosis support available whenever necessary. Detox is not offered at CCI, but referrals can be provided.
IOP is only offered to adults and meets three times a week for three hours per session. The program includes individual and group therapy, as well as medication management when needed. Individual therapy sessions are each an hour long and usually occur once a week. Topics covered during group include relapse prevention, emotional processing, introductions to the 12 steps and coping skills. Evidence-based therapies are used in group sessions, consisting primarily of CBT and DBT. Clients are encouraged to attend 12 steps meetings during their free time and to get an AA/NA sponsor. Still, participation is not strictly required.
Once IOP has been completed, clients can step down into general outpatient should they want to continue treatment. This program meets once a week, following a similar structure to that of IOP. The length of time spent in the program varies depending on the individual.
For adolescents struggling with chemical dependency, individual and group therapy as well as home-based services are available. Dual diagnosis support services extend to adolescent clients as well, with both psychiatric evaluations and medication management available. The staff at CCI consists of MDs, psychiatrists, Master’s-level therapists and LADCs. Group sizes range from eight to 15 clients.
Extras
Aside from their more structured programs, CCI also offers crisis care and evidence-based therapy for mental health issues exclusively. Drug testing services are also available upon request.

Overall, Consolidated Care, Inc. is a solid program that has been around for over 30 years. The facility uses evidence-based therapy and the 12 steps to tackle chemical dependency and mental health issues. Thanks to a wide variety of locations and outpatient services, clients of all ages can find affordable treatment here. Consolidated Care Inc. is still a strong recovery resource for Ohio residents.
