Conclusions Treatment Center Review
Conclusions Treatment Center is an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in the Los Angeles suburb of Mission Hills, California. Conclusions offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with dual diagnosis support for those with co-occurring disorders. What sets Conclusions apart from other treatment facilities is that it does not subscribe to the disease concept of addiction. Instead, it teaches the philosophy that addiction can be treated by empowering clients to make positive changes and then providing them with support to stop using.
Treatment and Staff
New clients receive individualized treatment plans based on their personal situation and recovery goals. PHP typically lasts four weeks and focuses on stabilizing the client’s physical, mental and emotional state. It’s usually recommended that clients in PHP stay in a sober living home so they can be surrounded by others in the same phase of recovery. Referrals can be provided for sober living if necessary. The PHP level of care provides six or seven hours of treatment five days a week, with group and individual therapy and medication management for those who need psychiatric support. After PHP, clients transition to IOP. This includes about nine hours of care per week with three groups for three hours at a time, and one individual session per week.
Therapy sessions generally consist of CBT methods. Over the course of the program, clients have access to a variety of specialty groups including trauma-informed care and gender-specific topics. Conclusions offers comprehensive dual diagnosis services. Clients can attend group sessions that address issues such as anxiety related disorders, trauma and PTSD and depression.
The Conclusions Treatment Center team includes psychologists, RNs, MFTs, LPCs and LCSWs.
