Treatment and Staff
Before beginning, clients meet with counselors and case managers to help develop an individualized treatment plan. While specifics of each plan may vary, treatment works within the structure of individual and group therapy using evidence-based care, such as CBT. Sessions also cover job searching, social skills and other practical topics. While 12-step attendance may not be required, all clients are encouraged to attend off-site self-help meetings during treatment. Dual diagnosis support is available. For clients battling opiate addiction, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) via Suboxone is also an option.
Aside from addiction programs, the facility also provides a number of counseling services purely for mental health issues including depression, anxiety, trauma and grief. Adolescent-only therapy is also available as is marriage and family counseling.
Rock Valley Community Programs also offers a residential re-entry track which has 150 beds available for clients coming out of prison, a transitional living apartments for veterans, a crisis stabilization unit and a residential program for mental illness called Harper’s Place.
In all, Compass Behavioral Health Clinic is a well-rounded facility that provides a range of outpatient services to men and women. Treatment is evidence-based and includes supplemental services through its parent organization Rock Valley Community Programs. For those in the area seeking flexible care for addiction and co-occurring disorders, Compass Behavioral Health Clinic is an affordable option worth considering.
