Community Services Counseling is a state-funded and licensed substance abuse treatment facility providing outpatient services. With two locations in Idaho, one in Boise and the other in Nampa, staff employ evidence-based methods of treatment including the Matrix model.
Treatment and Staff
Community Services Counseling’s outpatient program is based on the Matrix model of treatment, a 16-week track that integrates both CBT and relapse prevention techniques. However, prior to enrollment clients must first go through an initial evaluation and assessment to help counselors develop an individualized treatment plan that best fits their needs.
All treatment plans incorporate individual and group therapy, relapse prevention and addiction education. Additionally, there are specialized groups for individuals with co-occurring disorders, gender-specific groups for women, PTSD focus and family therapy groups. Clients may participate in any or all of these groups depending on their individual needs. The 12 steps are not included in the program, though clients are given referrals to local chapters if desired.
The staff at Community Services Counseling consists of LPCs, MFTs, LCSWs and CADCs.
Extras
In addition to the substance abuse treatment program, Community Services Counseling also offers a variety of other behavioral health and mental wellness services. Programs include anger management groups, financial management/budgeting classes, parenting classes, relationships counseling, cognitive self-change group and vocational support. Drug testing services are also available.
