Clinic Les Alpes is a luxury, state of the art detox and residential treatment facility located in Switzerland. Accommodations and Food
Clients of Clinic Les Alpes reside in the refurbished historic Alpine Chateau that offers such luxuries as a tranquil spa, high end restaurant and serenity space. There are 27 bedrooms, off of which are private en suite bathrooms. The rooms are fully furnished with queen sized beds, desks, dressers and balconies that open up to reveal breathtaking, panoramic views of the snow capped mountains that surround the facility.
Common areas include a library, a study, a drawing room and terrace. The entire residence is decorated with antique furniture and persian rugs with a hint of old world elegance. Additional features include wood burning fireplaces and several peaceful spots within the building that clients can retreat to when they need a moment to themselves.
Clients are served three nutritious meals a day in the restaurant. Prepared by a world class chef, the menus vary in terms of cuisine and style. Residents work with the staff dietitian and chef to design their ideal meals.
Treatment and Staff
Clinic Les Alpes does offer on-site medical detox and works to make sure the client is stabilized before heading into a daily schedule of treatment. The staff encourages clients going through detox to participate in group therapies and other activities as long as they are feeling up to it.
Every client has a psychiatric evaluation upon arrival. Medication management can be facilitated if necessary. In fact, there is a skilled psychiatrist on site who is able to help clients find a healthy balance with their medications.
The programs are designed to go for 28 days, though it is possible to stay longer if needed. There are individual sessions offered twice a day and several group sessions throughout the week. Approaches include art and music therapy, adventure therapy, mindfulness and meditation. There are also a number of additional wellness services offered, including medical and dental visits, smoking cessation, and eye health exams.
The staff of Clinic Les Alpes is comprised of experienced mental health professionals and medical staff. There are medical doctors and nurses, along with psychologists and LPCs.
Extras
The medical spa offers a state of the art, fully equipped gym, pilates and yoga rooms, sauna, hammam and infinity pool that allows clients to swim from inside to outside. There is also a massage room, which is a service that is readily available to clients throughout their stay.
There is a very in-depth family program offered that includes a short term stay at the facility, and aftercare.
