After the client completes the detox process, Vivitrol is used as a monthly injection to prevent relapse by blocking opioid receptors.
In addition, CleanSlate offers an array of complementary therapeutic services including psychoeducation and evidence-based therapies. Clients engage in individual and group therapy with staff trained in CBT and DBT. The facility provides classes on relapse prevention where clients learn to identify and avoid triggers. Case managers connect clients with 12-step support groups too.
The staff at CleanSlate is a small team therapists, nurses and case managers. Medication monitoring is a major component of the programming.
