The facility utilizes a multifaceted approach to care that integrates a number of therapeutic methods.
Suboxone and Vivitrol are integral components. CleanSlate specializes in the use of Suboxone to curb painful withdrawal effects for clients struggling with opioids. In addition, the facility also uses Vivitrol, an injection administered monthly after the clients has completed detox. Vivitrol helps to prevent relapse for clients struggling with both opioids and alcohol. CleanSlate supplements the medication treatment with medical services, evidence-based therapies, case management and psychoeducation. Clients regularly engage in individual and group therapy with therapists trained in CBT and DBT, in addition to classes on addiction as a chronic disease. The facility also offers a specialized programs for LGBTQ clients as well as Subutex for pregnant clients.
CleanSlate in Florida employs a team of Master’s-level therapists, case managers, physicians and a nursing team. Medication management is a major component of care.
CleanSlate also provides urine testing, medication monitoring, transportation and translation services.
