Located in Sylvania, Ohio, Center for Solutions provides outpatient behavioral health treatment services to clients of all ages. Treatment and Staff
Treatment at CFS is available for children, adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of mental health and chemical dependency issues. All participants must begin with an initial evaluation to determine their unique needs and individualized treatment plans are developed that include goals and frequency of sessions. There are also doctors on-site who can provide medication management when necessary.
CFS has 10 therapists on staff who provide treatment, each meeting with clients for individual sessions that are typically 45 to 50 minutes long. Treatment techniques used include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), psycho-education and faith-based processes. Topics discussed include sexual issues, mental-emotional issues, the disease of addiction, relapse prevention, childhood neglect and other psychological disorders. Support groups are highly encouraged and staff can provide information for community AA/NA and Alanon meetings, though attendance is not mandatory. The staff at CFS includes psychologists, LPCs and CSWs.
Extras
Those attending individual therapy are encouraged to invite family members to participate in the process with sessions scheduled as needed. The facility also has family and couples therapists who specialize in divorce, parenting and premarital issues.
