Located just outside the city of Auckland in New Zealand, Capri provides individualized detox and residential care in a luxury facility. Accommodations and Food
Situated in the outskirts of the major metropolis of Auckland, residents at Capri enjoy the serene environment and the solitude necessary to begin their recovery journey. Treatment and Staff
Many individuals entering residential care with Capri first transition into a medical detox that offers medication to curb uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms as well as around-the-clock supervision by the onsite nursing team. Following detox, residents undergo a comprehensive assessment to help determine the most effective individualized treatment solution tailored to the specific needs and goals of the resident. Individuals and staff work together to design and execute their personal “living well plan” that extends beyond their stay at Capri. This plan focuses on the improvement of life through mindfulness and better stress management strategies as well as the removal of negative habits. While the average treatment length at Capri is three weeks, residents may have shorter or longer stays depending on their unique needs and timeline.
The facility provides care for clients with alcohol and substance use disorders, as well as surface addictions like gambling and sex.
