Clients continue on to programs which include individual, group and family therapy with a range of evidence-based practices like CBT, CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Dual diagnosis support including medication management services are available as well.
Groups cover a wide range of different topics including anger management, relapse prevention, relationship skills, body awareness and self-esteem. Though 12-step support is not required, those seeking off-site peer support groups can get referrals as necessary. Finally, healthy eating is also stressed throughout the program with the help of nutritional counseling, cooking classes and exposure therapy—the latter can include meals at local restaurants, grocery store trips and other triggering, food-related situations.
The staff at Cambridge Eating Disorder Center consists of psychologists, dietitians, MDs, LCSWs, RNs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.

Other available services include holistic therapies such as yoga classes, art therapy and Reiki healing sessions. In addition to residential treatment, the organization also has a range of flexible outpatient programs as well as a transitional living home for those who complete primary care.
