Treatment and Staff
Detox usually lasts around seven to 10 days at Boca Detox Center, though during the initial assessment clients are given a more specific treatment plan. Each of the treatment plans are totally individualized, and the staff makes sure to help clients manage any discomfort while going through the process.
There are three daily group sessions held on site, which are optional and attendance usually depends on how the client feels during the withdrawal process. There are also AA meetings held on the premises each night. Additionally, clients are able to have private sessions with clinical staff when needed. There are also case managers on site who help navigate the clients’ next steps, which may involve moving onto an inpatient or outpatient addiction program.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is a key element of success in these programs. Medications include Suboxone, Librium and Serax. Detox treatment is available for clients who are dealing with alcoholism, opioid addiction, benzos and synthetic drugs.
The staff of Boca Detox Center is led by a medical director and includes both medical and mental health professionals. Credentials include LMHC, RN, DNP, FNP and LCSW.
