BES Group & Associates Review
Founded in 1989, BES Group and Associates is a multifaceted behavioral health organization with locations in Baytown, Beaumont, Pasadena and Houston, Texas. Though each location may offer different services, all include both outpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, all clients go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members develop their treatment plans. Though on-site detox is not available, those withdrawing from stronger opiates can get Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in the form of Suboxone prescriptions.
Treatment includes both individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based practices including CBT. Groups cover a range of topics including relapse prevention, 12-step principles, spirituality, emotional processing and addiction education. Dual diagnosis support and medication management can also be facilitated. Outpatient plans can be adjusted to fit any number of schedules.
The staff at BES Group’s IOP consists of MDs, LCDCs, LPCs, LVNs, RNs and additional Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
Other specialized services include a range of programs and classes for clients with DWIs and Minors In Possession (MIPs). Educational classes on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, including a special tobacco education class, are also offered as an interventionist measure. Those who finish primary care can also continue with therapy at a stepped down rate as a form of aftercare.
