Before beginning a program, all incoming clients must go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members develop an individualized treatment plan. The IOP is more flexible and less intensive, meeting three days a week for generally three hours at a time; the PHP is an all-day program that meets five to six days a week.
Though the specifics are different for each client, both outpatient tracks incorporate individual and group therapy rooted in evidence-based practices including CBT and DBT. Groups cover a range of topics including relapse prevention, stress management, family dynamics, social skills and 12-step recovery concepts. Dual diagnosis support including medication management is available as well.
The staff at Beginnings Treatment consists of MDs, RNs, psychiatrists, psychologists, MFTs, CADCs and additional Master’s-level counselors.
Extras
Psychotherapy is supplemented with holistic treatment like meditation, mindfulness training and guided imagery training. Those who complete primary care are welcome to continue on to a stepped down aftercare program as necessary. Standalone assessments and basic psychological testing are also offered.
