Treatment and Staff
Every client receives an individualized program that can take the form of a two week, four week, 60 and 90 day treatments. The detox process lasts between three and seven days on average and is operated by a medical staff who watches the client 24 hours a day and makes sure their experience is comfortable and safe. Treatment is based on a core clinical program that utilizes the Living in Balance curriculum. The program consists of identifying triggers, relapse prevention, psychoeducation, sexual and spiritual health, vocational training, daily living skills and educational assistance.
During a 30 day track clients address underlying issues that may have contributed to their addictions. There are daily AA meetings along with several group sessions. There are also regular individual sessions scheduled each week, and medication management services for dual diagnosis clients. In addition to the regularly scheduled groups, for the shorter tracks there are Hazelden based curriculum elements presented twice a day.
Treatment protocols include Motivational Interviewing (MI), CBT, DBT, meditation, nutrition, Wellbriety and Integral Recovery.
The Bear River Health team includes a large medical and clinical staff. They are medical doctors and nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists and board certified pain management specialists.
