Treatment and Staff

If necessary, clients begin in the detox program before entering the residential phase. AARC offers a medical detox that includes around-the-clock supervision and medication that curbs painful withdrawal symptoms. In addition, clients receive life coaching and therapy while in detox. Upon completion, residents typically move into the residential program. The total length of stay at AARC varies depending on the client’s needs, with commitments ranging from one to nine months.
AARC offers a holistic approach to care that integrates relapse prevention, life coaching, sober coaching and life skills, as well as individual and group therapy. Twelve-step meetings are not part of programming.
The treatment team at AARC is comprised of a multi-disciplinary group of counselors, therapists and physicians. Medication management is available for clients with co-occurring disorders.
