Treatment and Staff
This facility offers a variety of outpatient services, using a sliding fee scale. With a mix of evidence-based modalities such as CBT and DBT, the therapists work closely with clients to help retrain their thinking. The tracks usually serve between 10 and 20 people at a time. Detox and medication management are not available.
Prior to entering one of the programs, clients undergo an evaluation with a therapist. Each evaluation costs $75-$150 and helps determine which program is the best fit for the client. While this facility does not consider itself 12-step based, clients are encouraged to attend outside AA/NA meetings.
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets three days a week, for three hours sessions. Clients are exposed to one hour per week of individual therapy, in addition to a wide variety of group therapy. During group time, clients delve into topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, trauma, codependency, anger management and processing. This program usually lasts for eight weeks, although it can depend on the individual. This program costs $315-$600 per week.
The comprehensive outpatient program meets two or three days a week, for three to six hours per week. This program follows a similar structure to the IOP, with a little less intensity. From here, clients can work their way into the outpatient program, which meets once a week, for two-hour sessions. Outpatient includes group therapy only, with a greater focus on relapse prevention. The length of this option depends on the individual’s needs. This program costs $140-$300 per week.
The staff includes certified therapists and counselors.
For those who have been court ordered into treatment, this facility offers treatment and education. These are eight week programs, where clients are immersed in education about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, in addition to the prevention tools to keep arrests from happening again. Both programs cost $35-$50 per hour. Drug testing with a six panel screen is available for $25-$75.
Addiction Recovery Care of Tampa offers a wide variety of affordable care, using therapy as the primary way to treat addiction. While the 12-step programs are not forced upon clients, meetings are highly encouraged. This open attitude towards recovery allows clients to feel a sense of independence. Through the combination of a structured routine, caring staff members and a relaxed atmosphere, clients can find an individualized experience of sobriety.
