Treatment and Staff
All potential clients schedule an appointment for an evaluation available seven days a week from 8 am to 8 pm on the facility premises. If a client has any court obligations, AppleCore works directly with the justice system to accommodate any case management needs. Clients are enrolled in a program that is ideal for their treatment—all program options are individualized and modified to suit the unique needs of the client. Dual diagnosis support is available for individuals requiring additional mental health services.
Three intensities of outpatient treatment are available through AC. Standard outpatient treatment includes a total of 15 hours of treatment distributed over three- to four-days per week, or one hour per week over 15 weeks. Treatment includes group therapy.
Advanced outpatient requires a commitment of a total of 50 to 56 hours (inclusive of aftercare treatment). Spread over two evenings per week, clients attend 5 hours of treatment each evening. The third option of care is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and consists of nine hours of treatment distributed over three days per week. Level 1 and Level 2 psychoeducation courses are available and are designed to meet any court-mandated obligations. All treatment is available from 5 to 9 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and on weekends.
Intervention services are available for families and employers seeking professional help to bring about the commitment to recovery. AppleCore also offers specialized treatment groups for opioid addiction and pain management, amphetamine and ADD/ADHD diagnoses. A special group for anxiety medication addiction and stress management is also available. Clients are encouraged—but not required—to attend 12-step meetings. Individual therapy is available upon request.
AppleCore operates with a small team of LPCs and CADCs under the direction of the owner, Clay Johnson. Therapy typically utilizes CBT and DBT techniques to help facilitate a cognitive, emotional and mental shift in clients.
Aftercare and continued care is available upon request. Typically conducted through individual therapy sessions, clients work on relapse prevention techniques and stress management.
