As mentioned above, those who complete a more intensive IOP can also work with staff to develop discharge and aftercare plans, which include help with meal planning and dietary needs. Because Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is a much broader organization as well, other primary health care services are also available on-site as needed. Those in need of longer-term or more intensive care can also attend inpatient treatment as well.
