All Joshua is a private organization established in 2014 that offers outpatient substance abuse treatment to males and females between the ages of 14 to 60. Located in Annapolis, Maryland, All Joshua provides a full continuum of care, including outpatient detox, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and standard outpatient care.
Treatment and Staff
Treatment begins with an assessment and evaluation so that an individualized treatment plan can be developed. The outpatient detox program accepts adults currently in withdrawal from opiates. It consists of a physician-supervised stabilization that typically lasts seven days. This program includes Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), which uses Suboxone in conjunction with enrollment in the IOP.
The IOP consists of three group sessions a week for three hours each, offered in the afternoon or evening to accommodate work or school. This level is designed for clients that are participating in MAT or have completed inpatient treatment and want to continue with structured care. When ready, clients step down to the standard track, attending a minimum of one group and one individual session a week.
Treatment employs evidence-based practices, like CBT and Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as required on-site 12-step meetings. There are also specialized sessions geared towards adolescents and clients with a dual diagnosis.
All Joshua also offers court-ordered substance abuse assessments and DUI classes. Anger management and domestic violence classes are also available.
All Joshua’s outpatient offerings incorporate MAT with individualized treatment programs. With a strong emphasis on evidence-based techniques and developing coping skills, All Joshua provides a well-rounded approach to recovery in the Annapolis area.
