Author and comedian Sara Benincasa is a memoirist, a novelist, a performer, a delight and also completely open about her issues with mental health. After having her first panic attacks as a child, the New Jersey-reared lass managed to later overcome agoraphobia and write a book (currently being developed as a TV show) about it. In this episode, she and I discuss finding the right medication, whether or not regular therapy is necessary and why remaining grateful while staying confident is the perfect balance to strike, among many other topics.
