This is designed to empower each individual client in their quest for sobriety by utilizing CBT approaches and education. The aim of this program is to arm the clients with the ability to heal themselves.
There are regular group sessions, though the number of client to therapist ratio is kept low in order to focus on the individual needs of each client. There is a strong emphasis on having clients identify triggers, striving for a healthier lifestyle all around. That includes repairing relationships that have been affected by addiction and reconnecting with loved ones. Other treatment methods include Motivational Interviewing (MI), conflict resolution and relapse prevention techniques.
Those with co-occurring disorders have access to medication management as well as regular check ins with the staff psychiatrist. The staff at the Foothills facility offers Master’s-level therapists, and some with over 25 years of working in the recovery field. A combination of medical and clinical staff includes RN’s, physician assistants, addiction specialists, massage therapists and Reiki healers.

Clients experience the picturesque surroundings by taking group hikes to a nearby waterfall, and enjoy regular exercise at the gym that includes a pool, sauna and track for running and fitness equipment. There is also on site yoga, Reiki and massage therapist and full time housekeeping services.
