Clients participate in regular individual and group therapy rooted in CBT. Psychoeducation courses focus on relevant issues such as gender-specific issues, relapse prevention skills, mindfulness, parenting, sober living and coping strategies. AdCare introduces individuals into the 12-step recovery method and connects them with the local support community. In addition, there is programming for clients with surface addictions like gambling.
The AdCare team is made up of physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, mental health counselors and addiction specialists. Medication management is available for individuals with co-occurring conditions. Credentials include MD, PhD and Master’s-level.
