Group and individual therapy is facilitated at the facility several times a day, with sessions supervised by CADCs who have experience working with addiction medicine. Group topics vary from day to day—either employing process focus or psychoeducation. Clients learn about the nature of addiction, new coping skills and develop a peer support network. Some clients may also be encouraged to participate in 12-step meetings for further support.
