Acadia: Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center Review
In 2007, the Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center opened in Pennsylvania to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) through prescriptions for methadone. This outpatient substance abuse treatment facility treats clients over 18 years of age who are dealing with opioid addiction. Lebanon CTC does not incorporate the 12-step framework, but instead combines MAT with individual and group therapy through individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique recovery needs.
As a member of the Acadia Healthcare network, Lebanon Comprehensive Treatment Center is just one of many behavioral health facilities providing chemical dependency and therapeutic support. With its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, Acadia serves communities across the country and in the UK with inpatient, outpatient and school-based treatment programs.
Treatment and Staff
Treatment at Lebanon CTC is limited to MAT using methadone combined with individual and group therapy, requiring clients to take part in one group and one individual session each week. While in treatment, Lebanon CTC clients work on recovery and healthy coping skills, as well as stress relief management. Additionally, staff work with clients to create an aftercare plan and set personal sobriety goals.
Clients must be of adult age to enter treatment and are assigned their own primary counselor upon admission. The length of treatment is completely dependent upon each client´s level of need. Treatment runs Monday through Friday, from 5 am to 1:30 pm, Saturdays from 5 to 10 am and Sundays from 5:30 to 8:30 am. Lebanon CTC employs an on-site medical doctor, registered nurses and Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors (LSACs).
