Acadia: Kent Treatment Solutions Review
Located about 20 miles south of Seattle, Kent Treatment Solutions offers the Kent community and Southern King County with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and general outpatient substance abuse treatment for those struggling with opiate addiction. Kent Treatment Solutions asks clients to participate in both individual and group therapy, but treatment does not incorporate the 12-step framework.

Treatment and Staff
Kent Treatment Solutions clients must be over 18 years old and are treated with either methadone or Subutex, depending upon their acuity. Upon admission, clients undergo an initial assessment from which their treatment schedule is designed on an individualized basis to correspond to the level of care. Clients must be in withdrawal for a minimum of 20 hours in order to safely proceed with MAT.
All clients must participate in group and individual sessions at least once weekly. Kent Treatment Solutions also assists clients in planning for their aftercare. During the course of therapeutic treatment, clients set personal goals and take recovery and healthy coping skills classes. After the first two consecutive months of attending treatment, clients may reduce attendance to once weekly.
Treatment hours are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5 am to 12 pm and Thursdays from 5 to 11 am. Weekend hours are from 5:30 to 9 am on Saturdays. The facility is closed on Sundays.
Kent Treatment Solutions staff includes registered nurses and Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors (LSACs) as well as an on-site medical doctor who supervises treatment.
