For nearly 15 years, Harmony Healthcare has been providing outpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment to residents of Las Vegas, Nevada. It also operates a satellite facility in nearby Henderson, Nevada that focuses on mental health counseling.
Harmony Healthcare offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with a variety of daytime and evening groups. Treatment and Staff
Most clients complete their treatment plan in Harmony’s IOP in eight weeks. Clients attend group therapy three times each week, for a total of 24 sessions. Groups are offered Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and from 5 to 8 pm. Clients also have individual therapy as needed.
The treatment team includes LADCs, Master’s-level therapists such as LCSWs and MFTs and nurse practitioners and physicians’ assistants. The treatment team is experienced treating co-occurring disorders in therapy and can provided medication management for mental health diagnoses.
Therapy groups have fewer than 15 participants and address recovery issues such as relationship skills, addiction education and setting boundaries. Clinicians use CBT and DBT, and Harmony Healthcare also has groups for mental health conditions including depression, anxiety and bi-polar illness. If clients need a more intensive level of care, Harmony makes referrals to nearby inpatient treatment programs.
Clients are encouraged to attend 12-step or other peer support meetings while in treatment, and Harmony can help them locate meetings convenient for their location and schedule.
Extras
Harmony Healthcare offers a family group for loved ones to receive support and recovery education. It also has relationships with many of Las Vegas casinos’ insurance programs to treat their employees.
