Treatment and Staff

Evansville CTC specializes in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) methods to help the clients safely and comfortably detox with minimized symptoms. Prior to admittance, all clients are screened by intake staff and health and acuity of dependence are taken into account before prescribing the client one of four available medications: Suboxone, methadone, Subutex and Vivitrol are available under the supervision of the medical staff. Physicians and nurses oversee clients to watch for medication reactions and complications, and dosage may be adjusted at any point. Once the client stabilizes on their medication, they are encouraged to attend therapeutic activities in tandem with dosing. Dosing hours are between 4:30 am and 12 pm during the week, from 6 to 10 am on Saturdays and from 7 to 9 am on Sundays.

Following dosing, on-site group and individual sessions are scheduled. CADCs use evidence-based practices to help each client on an individualized basis. The facility is open seven days a week to help keep treatment options flexible for clients and their work or family schedules. Therapeutic sessions can be attended or scheduled between 4:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Wednesday, Thursdays between 4:30 am and 3 pm and on Fridays between 4:30 am and 1 pm. The clinic is open weekends from 6 to 10 am on Saturdays and on Sundays from 7 to 9 am. If clients are unable to attend during these hours, they are encouraged to attend 12-step meetings to supplement their MAT.

Evansville CTC is part of a nationwide provider of healthcare and chemical dependency services.
