Treatment and Staff

Methadone, Subutex and Suboxone are prescribed and administered under the supervision of certified medical practitioners. Dosing is available Monday through Friday from 5 to 10 am. Weekend hours are from 6 to 8 am. Holiday medicating hours are from 6 to 8 am.
The office is open Monday through Friday from 4:30 am until 1 pm for clients to speak to staff members and participate in therapeutic activities. DHCTC offers group and individual therapy for clients. As participation may not be possible for all clients due to work and family obligations, those who cannot attend groups are encouraged to attend 12-step meetings to supplement their recovery process. The clinical staff emphasizes to clients the importance of treating the emotional and mental aspects of recovery in addition to the physical aspects.
Group and individual sessions are facilitated using evidence-based therapies like CBT. CADCs support clients and help them to work through trauma and behavioral issues. Those with more serious mental health issues may be referred out to more intensive facilities during their detox process. Dosage and other concerns are monitored by physicians and a nursing staff. Adjustments to dosage may occur as clients progress in treatment.
