Acadia: Ascent North Little Rock Day Treatment and Outpatient Clinic Review
Ascent North Little Rock Day Treatment and Outpatient Clinic is a branch of the Ascent Children’s Health Services, a healthcare organization for toddlers, adolescents and teens. Located in North Little Rock, Arkansas, clients have access to a statewide network of outpatient programs offered by Ascent that cater to children and adolescents at risk of co-occurring substance abuse and chronic physical, developmental or emotional issues.
Under the Acadia Healthcare umbrella, Ascent facilities are included among an expansive international group of behavioral health facilities providing chemical dependency and therapeutic support. With its headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee, Acadia serves communities across the country and in the UK with inpatient, residential, outpatient and school-based treatment programs.
Treatment and Staff
All of the programs associated with Ascent Children’s Health Services offer Child Health Management Services (CHMS) and Rehabilitative Services for Persons with Mental Illness (RSPMI). All clients are given individualized treatment planning after an initial evaluation and assessment. Each plan caters to the specific treatment and recovery needs of the client, with family included in every aspect as Ascent endorses the belief that a healthy family dynamic is integral to recovery—especially with regards to children and adolescents.
Treatment utilizes evidence-based methods and includes individual and group therapy, family counseling and occupational therapy. The length of the program differs for everyone and is subject to change depending on individual progress.
The staff at Ascent North Little Rock consists of LCSWs and psychiatrists.
Extras
In addition to support for substance abuse treatment, plans may also include any or all of the following: physical therapy, speech therapy, nutrition and wellness counseling, neuro-psychology services, behavior therapy and audiology services.
