A New SpiritThe Basics

Serving the Seattle, Shoreline, Lynnwood, and Mountlake Terrace communities in Washington State, A New Spirit Recovery Program offers a comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at a reasonable price. Unlike most rehabs, their drug and alcohol abuse treatment programs are separate from each other so the focus is on the unique needs of each addiction.

Treatment and Staff

The IOP programs at ANSRP are intended for individuals who have already undergone detox and are able to support themselves but are still in need of a strict recovery program. Both the alcohol and drug abuse programs start with an initial assessment to determine exactly what the client needs and how to move forward with an individualized treatment plan. In addition to individual, group and family counseling, relapse prevention programs and aftercare are offered.

The focus in each session is to get the client to relearn how to lead a fulfilling and happy life without substances and without feeling like they ever need to use again. By the end of the program, clients should be able to attend social events where alcohol or drugs are present and not feel tempted.

ANSRP uses a holistic treatment approach and a nurturing environment to reach recovery goals. Each member of the staff has over 20 years of experience in the addiction field and is either an LADC or a CADC.

Extras

In addition to their treatment program, ANSRP offers a variety of other services. For those who have recently been convicted of a DUI, they offer DUI evaluations and assessments. They also offer an alcohol/drug information school for family and community members who are looking to educate themselves about addiction as a disease.

In Summary

Although they do not offer a multitude of treatment programs and are not a luxury rehab with extra amenities, ANSRP does offer a solid IOP treatment program. The separate drug and alcohol programs allow the experienced staff to focus on the particular needs of each addiction and provide the care that clients need. With individual, group and family counseling as well as relapse prevention education and aftercare, ANSRP is a good choice for those in need of an affordable yet no-frills IOP program.
