Accommodations and Food
All told, the 7th Street Treatment home has a total of five bedrooms, each shared between two to three residents. The home is situated on a half acre of land and is kept separate by floor, with the top two floors reserved for men and the bottom floor reserved for women. While the bedrooms come with twin beds, nightstands, basic decorations and natural lighting, the men’s floors have access to a sunning terrace whereas the women’s floor has access to recently renovated bathrooms and the grounds, with an open layout that encourages bonding among female residents.

Beyond the bedrooms, each of the dorms also has its own common areas which include group rooms with large TVs, quiet rooms for therapy and a shared kitchen with a spacious layout, large island and modern fixtures.
Every day clients are served three family-style meals together in the facility’s dining room. Dietary needs can be accommodated upon request.
Treatment and Staff
Before beginning treatment, all residents go through an initial intake and assessment process to help staff members determine their needs. While the facility does not offer on-site medical detox services, those in need can get referrals to nearby programs as necessary. Once stabilized, participants attend regular individual and group therapy with evidence-based treatment practices including CBT and DBT. Groups cover topics including relapse prevention, trigger identification, emotional processing, life skills, psychoeducation and other related issues. In addition to the clinical side of things, all residents must also attend regular on-site 12-step meetings throughout the program as well. Dual diagnosis support, including medication management, is available as well.
The staff at 7th Street Treatment consists of case managers, LCSWs, LPCs, LMHCs and additional Master’s-level clinicians.
Extras
In addition to the above, the facility also provides experiential therapy in the form of role play and guided meditation, along with rotating recreational therapy groups. Family therapy is also available whenever necessary. Finally, those who complete primary care can also work with staff members to get aftercare support plans and enter into a lifetime support network of the facility’s alumni.
